How much does an English or Spanish course cost?
The price of a course at GB English depends on how you want to learn – because everyone learns differently, and we tailor the course to you, not the other way around. We offer classes from £45 per lesson (50 minutes).
Several factors influence the cost of learning:
- whether you choose online or in-person classes,
- whether you prefer individual or group lessons,
- how often you want to have classes,
- how long you want your individual lessons to be – 30, 40 or 50 minutes,
- and whether you are interested in the Callan Method or another form of learning.

WE HAVE BEEN TEACHING LANGUAGES USING THE CALLAN METHOD FOR OVER 20 YEARS AND ARE ACCREDITED BY THE CALLAN METHOD ORGANISATION IN CAMBRIDGE.
The standard lesson hour in the Callan Method is 50 minutes. This applies to stationary and online lessons.
Online classes in the Callan Method are no different from classroom classes. They provide the same intensity of learning.
Open group classes
Groups are formed on the basis of: a screening interview conducted by the school’s chief methodologist, the level of the students and their hourly preferences .
Open groups consist of no more than 8 people. Classes are always held on fixed days and times. It is possible to change the group, but it is not possible to cancel classes.Payment is taken in advance for a minimum of 16 lesson hours.
Closed group classes
Classes are held on specific days and times, preferred by the students, with the possibility of change (minimum 4 lessons per month). Cancellation of classes is possible at no cost, in accordance with the School Regulations. The fee is charged in advance for a minimum of 4 lessons.
Individual classes
One-to-one classes are classes of one person with a teacher. They take place on specific days and at specific times, with the possibility of change. It is possible to cancel classes at no cost, in accordance with the School Regulations. Payment is taken in advance for a minimum of four weeks’ tuition.
Callan App
Students receive additional access to the Callan Method e-learning platform and Callan App, where they will find additional exercises, dictations and audio recordings. This is an excellent complement to the skills acquired in class.
Ebooks
Original Callan Method learning ebooks are available at the school, imported for our students directly from The Callan Method Organisation Callana in London.
Students are required to purchase the ebook with which they will receive access to the CALLAN APP e-learning platform.
