Among this information, data may appear which, under Regulation (EU) 2016/679 of the European Parliament and of the Council of 27 April 2016 on the protection of natural persons with regard to the processing of personal data and on the free movement of such data, and repealing Directive 95/46/EC (hereinafter: the General Regulation or GDPR), constitutes personal data.
In accordance with the applicable regulations on the protection of personal data, in particular the General Regulation, in order to ensure proper protection of personal data, the data subject must above all be provided with information regarding the processing of their personal data as set out in Art. 13 or 14 GDPR – depending on whether the data has been obtained directly from the data subject or from other sources.
